Founded in 2010 as Youth Choices, LLC, of Nevada, SPIRIT, Inc. is a social enterprise focused on providing U.S. communities with innovative prevention and intervention methodologies, and with high-tech solutions that connect at-risk youth, families and individuals with the most effective resources available.
Spirit has since evolved in a multifaceted tool focused on the Social Epidemiology of the country. Spirit strives to be a major resource in healing communities at all levels from at risk adults, to youth and families, with a focus on major social issues such as Substance Abuse, Mental Health, and Domestic Violence. Spirit has found a home in School Districts, Detention Centers, Drug Coalitions, Homeless Shelters and in the Foster Care system at the local and state level’s across the country.
With over 50 years of combined experience in youth-focused initiatives, SPIRIT’s beginnings were based on a powerful, grassroots collaboration with experts representing many relevant disciplines. SPIRIT then combined this valuable input with its in-depth knowledge of national, evidenced-based best practices and innovative technology solutions. Spirit has further strengthened its core product through countless hours of research and case studies at the county and state levels adding to the growth of the company and the supporting technology.
Spirit’s has also brought in the highest caliber experts in the technology field including an experienced Software development team that has developed an app currently used by the department of defense for military response training in life and death scenarios.
